Your Role and Responsibilities
The Summer Internship Program is a cornerstone of our University Relations program. IBM Research India provides internships to the best students from Tier-1 technical universities in India. Students get a chance to have real experience of industry-level work through work with advanced technologies. Tasks would include paying free intern jobs at the laboratory with ongoing projects, where problems are solved in a high-impact domain under the guidance of a mentor. The overall goal is to offer insight into the industry and identify potential future employees.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Java and Python including knowledge of pandas. NumPy.
- Data Structures, Algorithms, and a good problem-solving approach.
- Background in linear algebra, probability, and statistics.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as VS Code, Jupyter notebooks, and Git.
